Citylink Secure T in the Park Gig
With this year’s T in the Park almost upon us Scottish Citylink are delighted to announce that they will once again be providing the fastest and greenest way to travel to one of Britain’s premier music festivals.
This year sees Citylink’s services, at the festival, extended to 32 direct routes across Scotland. And with coaches dropping festival goers off at the main entrance Citylink passengers won’t have to endure a long walk, from the car parks, with their camping gear.
And with bands like Elbow, Blur, Killers, Squeeze, Kings of Leon and Keane making an appearance at this year’s festival, ticket holders will want to save all their energy for the shows.
Frequent shuttle services will be operating from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth and Dundee whilst further services will run from Aberdeen, Alloa, Airdrie, Armadale, Aviemore, Ayr, Bathgate, Blackburn, Broxburn, Cowdenbeath, Cupar, Dunfermline, East Kilbride, Falkirk, Glenrothes, Greenock, Hamilton, Inverness, Kelty, Kilmarnock, Kirkcaldy, Livingston, Motherwell, Paisley, Pitlochry, St Andrews, Stirling and Whitburn.
Tickets must be bought in advance from www.citylink.co.uk or by calling 08705 501 501.
Nicola Campbell, Marketing Manager at Scottish Citylink, said:
“Every year T in the Park just gets bigger and better and we’re delighted that festival goers will once again be able to relax on our services whilst being transported to and from the festival sites.”
Not only that but Citylink ensures that passengers enjoy affordable, hassle free travel whilst reducing their carbon footprint.
However, people are being asked to book in advance to guarantee they don’t miss out on a seat. And to prevent long queues and unnecessary waiting, they must travel at the time stated on their ticket.
Therefore ticket holders are advised not to turn up until their allocated time as they will not be able to travel until the time stated on their ticket. This system guarantees that there is enough capacity, at all times for passengers, ensuring that festival goers enjoy the best transport experience possible.
