Scottish Citylink Announce Travel Partnership with
The City of Perth Gold Cup
Scottish Citylink’s Sportslink services just keep getting better and better for those who love elite sports competition.
Hot on the heels of Citylink’s partnership with Scottish Rugby comes a race day bonus for the many thousands of spectators expected at one of the biggest and most prestigious, jumping races of the summer in the UK.
Whilst most spectators at The City of Perth Gold Cup have little chance of getting their hands on the £50,000 prize money, on offer, all of the expected 12,000 race goers will be able to claim a 20% discount, on standard Citylink day return adult and child tickets, to and from Perth Broxden Park and Ride Terminus on the day of the race.
The race takes place on Sunday 31 May 2009, and organisers have once again ensured that it remains THE big family day out at Perth Races.
A variety of displays, entertainment in the parade ring, pipe bands and FREE admission for under 16s, will keep spectators of all ages happy. It all starts at 11.30am, with the last race at 5.20pm, and for parents with infants there will be a FREE crèche facility in the centre of the course.
Stephanie Docherty, Operations Manager at Citylink said: “In these difficult financial times spectators will, I’m sure; appreciate anything that will help them to save money on their big day out. Who knows, it might even allow one of them to pick a winner!”
The ‘Sportslink’ ticket is sure to encourage horse racing fans to enjoy a great day out, without the expense of petrol and parking, whilst saving them the time and hassle of driving to and from the course.
And booking a ‘Sportslink’ ticket couldn’t be easier. Tickets are available to any spectator who either presents their race day ticket at a Citylink sales office, or books online, or via a telephone quoting the following promotional code:

Scottish ‘Sportslink’ ticket holders can travel from any destination in Scotland to Perth, Broxten Park and Ride Terminus, where they will then be transferred by Stagecoach Scotland shuttle buses to Perth racecourse from as little as £3 return or £2 single.
