Scottish Citylink launches text ticketing
Scottish Citylink today launched its new text ticketing service.
Customers are now able to have a ticket text straight to their mobile phone making travel with the leading express coach company simpler than ever.
The new initiative complements the existing range of ways to receive tickets for travel on the Citylink network which covers more than 200 towns and cities across Scotland.
Tickets are currently either e-mailed, posted or picked up by the customer if bought online at www.citylink.co.uk or through the call centre on 08705 505050. Alternatively tickets can be bought in person from the driver or an agent.
Citylink has introduced the new ticket format in response to demands from younger customers who want the convenience of keeping their ticket in their mobile phone.
Paul Murphy, Marketing Manager at Scottish Citylink, explained: “At Citylink we aim to respond to customer needs and keep up with developments in technology.
“Text ticketing is a quick and easy way to receive a ticket for Citylink services and we are sure it will be popular with our customers.”
Tickets and information on Citylink services are available by calling 08705 50 50 50 or by visiting www.citylink.co.uk.
Issued by the BIG partnership on behalf of Scottish Citylink.
