Scottish Citylink Winter Timetable Changes
Express coach operator, Scottish Citylink, today (2nd October 2002) announced that there will be no fare increases when the winter timetable comes into effect on Monday October 7th.
The company is also extending the availability of its Apex fares with an unlimited number of seats now on offer at reduced prices of more than a third on selected routes. Apex tickets can only be purchased by calling the Citylink call centres a minimum of five days in advance.
Managing Director of Scottish Citylink, Neil Wood, explained: “We are pleased to be able to offer more customers Apex fares, which represent even better value for money. Between Edinburgh and Inverness, for example, the price of a return Apex fare is just £16, offering savings of more than a third.
“The new timetable will offer continuity from the summer services. We have taken on board customer comments and that’s why our new timetable is based on the existing one with minimum changes over the winter months.”
Information on the timetable changes are now available from Citylink by calling 08705 50 50 50, 8am to 9pm, 7 days or by contacting any Citylink appointed agent.
Issued by the BIG partnership on behalf of Scottish Citylink.
