Citylink further improve Dunblane - Stirling to Edinburgh Service
Citylink has further improved its service to Edinburgh by both extending the route to include Dunblane and also by consulting with Stirling-based commuters to fine tune its timetable.
The leading coach operator took over the route from First Bus in August and at the time proposed a number of changes for their winter timetable from 6 October. Following consultation with customers however Citylink has made a number of further alteration to reflect customer demand.
The peak time service from Dunblane to Edinburgh at 7.40am has been reinstated and calls at Stirling Bus Station at 8am. In addition, stops at Princes Street in Edinburgh and Stirling University have been re-introduced.
Paul Murphy, Marketing Manager for Citylink, said: “We have had an excellent response to the introduction of this new Citylink route and are pleased to introduce our new timetable after constructive feedback from our customers.
“We have a good customer base in Dunblane, Stirling and Edinburgh and are delighted to be able to offer this improved service.”
Citylink offer 12 services from Dunblane, Bridge of Allan and Stirling to Edinburgh, Monday to Friday and 11 on Saturdays. Ten journey tickets are available at £25 and Off-Peak Day Returns suitable for travel after 9am at just £4.
