Scottish Citylink unveil new timetable
Scottish Citylink recently unveiled details of its new timetable which came into effect yesterday.
Scotland’s leading express coach operator has introduced new and improved services through the new timetable - which runs until 30th May 2004 - including a new route from Perth to Oban to operate during the summer months.
Other timetable changes see the addition of further services at peak times Monday to Friday between Glasgow and Edinburgh and the return of summer services between Edinburgh and Fort William.
Fare increases will also come into effect on 26th May 2003 but all APEX fares such as Glasgow to Aberdeen at £16 return will remain unchanged. Reservations can be made on the majority of Citylink routes.
Neil Wood, Managing Director of Scottish Citylink, said: “Citylink is looking to continually improve upon the service we provide throughout Scotland and we are always working to extend our network.
“We are building on the winter timetable and in response to customer requests we have increased the frequency of many services and introduced a new route.
“Citylink already makes 3 million passenger journeys every year and we hope the new timetable will allow more people to use our coaches to travel to over 200 destinations throughout Scotland.”
