Scottish Citylink lay on special bus service for Franz Ferdinand fans

29.11.2004

Scottish Citylink has good news for fans travelling to see Franz Ferdinand at the SECC on 18th or 19th December.

The leading coach operator has arranged a special bus service which leaves Edinburgh bus station at 5.30pm and takes fans direct to the SECC. The bus will then collect passengers and take them back to Edinburgh bus station after the event.

Paul Murphy, Marketing Manager at Scottish Citylink, said: “The return of Franz Ferdinand to their home city of Glasgow is always a big event and the concerts are set to be spectacular. Our bus service will ensure travellers will arrive at the concert in plenty of time and will take them back to their destination in Edinburgh with no need to worry about parking.”

Citylink is committed to providing transport to some of the biggest concerts and festivals in Scotland. In 2004, the company brought 30,000 music lovers across the whole of Scotland to T in the Park.

Return ticket prices to the SECC on 18th or 19th December are available for £8 and must be booked in advance of travel. Tickets can be purchased from Citylink agents, online by visiting www.citylink.co.uk or by calling 08705 505050.

Issued by the BIG partnership on behalf of Scottish Citylink.
