Scottish Citylink unveil new timetable…
Scottish Citylink today (Friday 28th May 2004) unveiled details of its new summer timetable.
Scotland’s leading express coach company will introduce additional services from 31st May until 3rd October 2004, including the re-introduction of its Perth-Oban route.
At the same time, the majority of fares are set to increase in line with inflation, however there will be no change to fares on the main commuter routes, such as Glasgow to Edinburgh, Stirling to Glasgow and Edinburgh and Perth to Dundee.
The company has also extended APEX fares across its network, guaranteeing savings of at least 30% on return travel for tickets purchased 2 days in advance. Internet fares are also available on popular routes, such as Glasgow-Edinburgh, for as little as £1 single.
Paul Murphy, Marketing Manager of Scottish Citylink, said: “Citylink is delighted to introduce more journey opportunities over the summer and further to customer requests, cheaper tickets are now available on all our routes.”
Information on changes is available on www.citylink.co.uk or by calling 08705 50 50 50.
Issued by the BIG partnership on behalf of Scottish Citylink.
