Citylink set to bring thousands of music fans to Scotland's first rock festival…
Scottish Citylink today (Monday 12th April 2004) announced music to the ears of thousands of rock fans across Scotland.
The leading coach company is providing special services to Download - the country’s first rock festival.
Citylink will provide transport from major Scottish cities including Aberdeen, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth, Dundee, Aviemore and Inverness direct to the event on Glasgow Green.
The festival - which takes place on the 2nd and 3rd June - will feature music from two of the biggest rock bands in the world – Metallica and Linkin Park plus many more.
Paul Murphy, Marketing Manager of Scottish Citylink, said: “It is great to be the official transport provider for what promises to be a fantastic event.”
CPL, DF Concerts, Clear Channel Entertainment and Miller Genuine Draft are all working in partnership to bring the Download Festival to Scotland.
