Scottish Citylink today (Tuesday 6th April 2004) announced details for its special shuttle bus to T in the Park.

2004 will be Citylink’s third year of running a special shuttle bus services from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Perth to the event in Balado. In addition there will be direct services from other major centres including Inverness, Aberdeen and Dundee as well as connections available from the rest of the Citylink network.

The leading express coach operator has secured the two-year contract on the strength of their experience and extensive network and will provide over 700 services to the event on 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th July 2004.

Citylink carried over 24,000 passengers last year and Paul Murphy, Marketing Manager for Citylink, is confident that they will build on this success.

He said: “T in the Park is a major event in the music calendar and Citylink is delighted to be appointed as official transport provider.

“We have experienced growth in passenger numbers over the past two years and are confident that this number will increase in 2004 as more and more people realise that our services are the perfect way to travel to and from the event.”
