Citylink lay on special service for Travis fans

26.02.2004

Scottish Citylink today announced good news for fans travelling to see Travis at the SECC on the 11th and 12th March 2004.

The leading coach operator has arranged a special bus service which leaves Edinburgh bus station at 6pm and takes fans direct to the SECC. The bus will then collect gig goers and take them back to Edinburgh bus station after the event.

Paul Murphy, Marketing Manager at Scottish Citylink, said: “Taking the bus to events like Travis means that passengers don’t have to worry about bringing the car and parking it. Our bus service will ensure passengers arrive at the concert in plenty of time and will provide a convenient pick up for everyone.”

Citylink is committed to providing transport to some of the biggest concerts and festivals in Scotland. In 2003, the company brought 26,000 music lovers across the whole of Scotland to T in the Park. The company will continue to provide transport throughout 2004 to some of the main music events.

Return ticket prices to the SECC on the 11th and 12th March are available for £8 and must be booked in advance of travel. Tickets can be purchased from Citylink agents, online or by calling Citylink’s central reservation centre on 08705 50 50 50.

Issued by the BIG partnership on behalf of Scottish Citylink.
