SCOTTISH CITYLINK FARES CHANGE

19.02.2008

Scottish Citylink advises customers that a number of fares changes on our inter-city coach network will take effect from Monday 25 February 2008.

As a result of the continuing significant rise in the price of fuel and other factors affecting our overall operating costs, standard fares across the Scottish Citylink network will rise by approximately 10%. Examples of the current and new fares are provided below.

We will, however, continue to freeze the price of a number of our popular tickets and super singles fares, Explorer Pass fares and Belfast fares will remain unchanged.

Fares allow Scottish Citylink to continue to invest in its network and, in the past 2 years, we have introduced around £7 million of new vehicles to provide an even better travelling environment for our customers.

Our inter-city coach services continue to offer excellent value for money, providing a cheaper alternative to running a car or taking the train.

We are working hard to keep prices as low as possible and offer a wide range of fares to give our customers choice and flexibility.

For the best deals and promotional fares, visit our website at www.citylink.co.uk and register to keep up-to-date with the best in inter-city travel.
