Edinburgh Tramworks Update

January 2012 will see a further round of diversions as a result of tram works.
 
The works being undertaken at the east end of Princes Street from 7 January 2012 will NOT affect any of our services.
 
The following Saturday, 14 January from 0500, Shandwick Place will be closed until a point somewhere in 2013. This will result in Services 900, 904 and 909 heading into Edinburgh having to divert via West Maitland St., left into Manor Place, right into Melville St, right into Queensferry St. left into Hope St., where there will be a temporary stop to replace BOTH Shandwick Place and Princes St stops [the existing temporary stop outside West Register House in Charlotte Square will be withdrawn] thence via the current diversion route round the north side of Charlotte Square,left into North Charlotte St and right into Queen St to the bus station.
 
Services 900, 904 and 909 heading westbound out of Edinburgh will operate into Charlotte Square as at present BUT having crossed the east side of the square will continue ahead into South Charlotte St [temporary stop to replace Princes St stop] right into Princes St., left into Lothian Road and normal route.

Ullapool Luggage Service Closure

As of the 5th of December Citylink will no longer provide a luggage service for Ullapool.

 

Additional late evening Sunday only journey Aberdeen-Glasgow

With effect from Sunday 6 November we will introduce a journey departing Aberdeen at 2315 to Glasgow (arr 0215) calling at Dundee(arr 0030/depart 0025) and Perth Broxden Park+Ride(arr 0105/ depart 0110)

Edinburgh Princes Street Diversion

Please note that Princes St Edinburgh will be closed from 17 September 2011 for approximately 10 months whilst tram work is carried out. As a result please note the following:

All services into and from Edinburgh using the Forth Road Bridge:  There will be NO changes to the existing route or Bus Stop locations with the EXCEPTION of the 0700 Perth-Edinburgh Service M91 and 0700 Kinross-Edinburgh Service M91 which observe a set down stop at the junction of Hanover St and Rose St. Monday to Friday. These journeys will operate from Queensferry St via Charlotte Square and George St and set down on George St in the vicinity of the junction with Hanover St at Stop GK.

All services into Edinburgh using Corstorphine Rd.: Inbound to Edinburgh services will operate via their normal route to Haymarket Station then due to the closure of Shandwick Place will operate via West Maitland St., Manor Place, Melville St., Queensferry St., Hope St [temporary stop to replace both Shandwick place and Princes St.] then via Charlotte Square, North Charlotte St. and Queen St. to the bus station.

All services from Edinburgh using Lothian Road and Haymarket: will operate via Queen St., North Charlotte St., Charlotte Square east side, South Charlotte St. [temporary stop to replace Princes St. opp Next stop] then Princes St., Lothian Road and normal route.
 

Glasgowflyer Service 500 (Glasgow - Glasgow Airport)

Please note that Arriva service 500 between Glasgow and Glasgow Airport will cease operation after 31st July 2011. As a result we are currently unable to accept bookings for connections to Glasgow Airport. Passengers are advised to book to Glasgow Buchanan Bus Station and catch the First Bus 500 service.

Passengers with pre-booked tickets for Arriva service 500 will be able to use them for travel on First Bus service 500.
