Sitting atop Battery Hill is the Iconic 'McCaig's Tower' - inspired by the Colosseum in Rome where you can wander the outer walls and take in the sunset views.
You can also stroll along the stunning Oban Promenade that runs alongside Oban Bay and the Oban Esplanade (you may be lucky enough to spot some of the local wildlife)! When it's time to wind down, head to the Oban Distillery and enjoy the tour and history of whisky making - the free samples at the end of the tour are an added bonus.

If you're a lover of seafood then Oban is the perfect place to visit! Known as the "Seafood Capital of Scotland", the locally sourced delicacies are both delicious and affordable. Visit the Oban Seafood Hut or The Waterfront Fishouse Restaurant and indulge yourself in some tasty seafood.
Vegan and Vegetarian dishes are also popular in Oban. The Little Potting Shed is famed for producing some of the best Vegan and Vegetarian options in Argyll and Bute. Other options include BAAB which boasts incredible views across the harbour and The Olive Garden.
