Over the past few months our absolute priority has been to keep our customers and employees safe. Now that steps are being taken to ease lockdown and more people are travelling, our priorities remain the same. If you can, walking and cycling are good alternatives to getting where you need to go. If you travel by coach, please follow the guidance set out in our travelling safely guides.
You can travel on our services with confidence. We pay special attention to the items you come into contact with - handrails, bells, seats, poles - to make sure they're regularly and thoroughly cleaned.
The safety of our customers and employees is our priority so we’ve put together advice for travelling safely on our services, including the best way to pay for your journey, the use of face coverings, the importance of hand washing and sanitising, and how to practise social distancing.
We fully support each government’s advice about social distancing, including the compulsory wearing of face coverings on public transport in Scotland

Services and current timetables
As lockdown eases and more people return to work and are travelling, to help keep everyone safe we had reduced the number of seats available on our coaches to promote social distancing. However, we are pleased to let you know that we’ve been able to increase capacity, allowing one person to sit in each double seat, leaving the seat in front and beside you empty. We’ve got the ‘We’re Good To Go’ official UK mark to show that we’re following Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and have a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. Travel responsibly with Citylink.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we’re working differently to best support our staff and customers.
Unfortunately, our call centre and travel centres are currently closed following government advice around social contact. However, emails will continue to be picked up and our social media team are available from 9am to 6pm, daily.

If you require assistance on your journey or with any of the safety measures detailed, we would advise you to contact our Assisted Travel team, 24 hours prior to travel by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with details of the journey you wish to make.
